Founded in April 2019, Wasabi specialises in the production and sale of Asian recipes in supermarkets. Today, Wasabi has more than 110 corners in supermarkets: E.Leclerc, Intermarché and Système U. For co-founder Charles Edouard Raphaell, operational excellence is at the heart of all the company's processes. He explains how Inpulse helps him achieve his goals on a daily basis.

How to open 55 kiosks in just 8 weeks ?

Wasabi Corner combines tradition and homemade dishes, offering three culinary worlds in the same kiosk: sushi, wok and spring rolls. In the space of just two years, the network has expanded at lightning speed, a success that brings new challenges every day. 

"Today, Wasabi Corner has more than 100 kiosks throughout France. Our goal is to reach 150 kiosks in 2023. We’d also like to multiply our distribution channels by developing dark kitchens and remote shop windows."

To keep pace with the rapid expansion of our kiosks, Inpulse supports us with its unique tool, deployed across our entire network. Before switching to Inpulse, we tried to develop our own software, but soon realised it would be time-consuming and difficult. We lost lots on R&D. With Inpulse, we successfully launched 55 kiosks in just eight weeks. Today, all our kiosks use the same solution. Inpulse lets us adapt production to customer flow in real time on every kiosk. Centralise data and digitalise production

It's challenging to manage 55 locations spread throughout the country. We needed to centralise production and purchasing data order to manage the system and economic model that underpin the overall development of our brand. Thanks to Inpulse, we standardised our production and ordering processes, giving us greater control over material costs and ratios.

"Inpulse lets us monitor our production on a daily basis, controlling the minimum number of references we need to produce for well-stocked display cases. It monitors fill and production levels in real time. This ensures that we offer customers the right products in the right quantities".

In our organisation, we have several support staff and sector managers who use Inpulse daily to monitor the production of stock for their kiosks and place orders for their entire inventory, enabling them to remain highly operational without being on-site. Centralising purchasing data in Inpulse now saves the procurement manager around three hours a day, which is enormous.
